Celebrate the beauty and history of the romantic Danube River as you cruise seven nights aboard the Amadeus Waterways’ MS Amalegro from Vilshofen to Budapest.  Explore a 2,000-year old city and visit Europe’s largest pipe organ, savor local wines throughout the Wachau Valley, and have your senses heightened with the timeless beauty and rich history of Vienna and Budapest.

This trip will incorporate stimulating and informative continuing education seminars on diabetes, genetics, neurology, nursing history, and humor by Tracey Long, RN, BSN, MS, CDE, and trips to castles, historic theaters, a Benedictine Abbey, the Hofburg Palace, and the Vienna Opera House. You also can hear an evening Mozart and Strauss concert, experience sightseeing at the Royal Palace in Budapest and St. Stephen's Basilica, and share special breakfasts and dinners with other tour participants.

The pre tour will incorporate three days of shopping, sightseeing and relaxation in Prague, Czech Republic. You can visit museums, tour castles, and shop for local artwork. At the end of three days, you will travel to Vilshofen where you will join the other tour participants at the Welcome Gala Dinner onboard the AMA’s MS Amalegro.
